Group Tours in Pine Bluff

Pine Bluff sits on the banks of the Arkansas River, 42 miles southeast of Little Rock on I-530. Long known as a commercial center, Pine Bluff is transitioning into a hot spot for tour groups that enjoy learning about Arkansas history, enjoying art in Arkansas and enjoying the Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends.

Learn about Arkansas history throughout the city of Pine Bluff by visiting the following sites:
  • A series of thirteen Murals on Main, painted by nationally known muralists;
  • The Pine Bluff/Jefferson County Historical Museum housed in the restored Union Station Train Depot;
  • The Arkansas Railroad Museum with their Annual Railroadiana Show and Sale held every April;
  • The Band Museum, the nation’s only museum devoted to band instruments, the history of bands, and band music combined with a 1950s soda fountain;
  • The childhood home of Martha Mitchell, who was a force in the Watergate scandal during President Nixon’s administration;
  • The Old Town Theatre Centre highlighting The Community Theatre, the oldest one-screen theater still operating in the state and host of the annual Pine Bluff Film Festival;

Become exposed to the vast variety of art in Arkansas represented by the Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas with performing arts events, art galleries and a hands-on gallery. The Arkansas Entertainers Hall of Fame, housed at the Pine Bluff Convention Center also features a life-size animatronic Johnny Cash to greet visitors, along with memorabilia from the careers of over fifty other inductees.

The drive through the award winning Enchanted Land of Lights and Legends, takes place every year from mid-November through New Years Eve with holiday lights displays. Part zoo, part museum, part aquarium and part nature trails, the Delta Rivers Nature Center, the first one of its kind built in Arkansas, provides views of native wildlife along with exhibits. The newest attraction, Saracen Landing, located on Lake Saracen, is a multi-purpose pavilion for weddings, car shows, the Farmers Market, reunions, craft fairs, concerts, picnics and other special events. Hestand Stadium, southeast Arkansas’ largest outdoor arena, features the Southeast Arkansas District Fair, Livestock Show and Rodeo and carnival every September, along with other events during the year.
